+ Balde is a pretty quick player. He has good sprint speed which helps in catching up to wingers and he is very explosive meaning you could send him through to overlap. His pace is also useful when you need him to track back:(9.7/10)
Defending
+ For an attacking fullback, Balde punches above his weight in terms of defending. His tackles are strong and accurate and his anticipation is good, which helps in intercepting some wayvard balls in midfield:(9.5/10)
Passing
+ He can be a huge threat down the wing. His crosses are deadly and accurate, making him an ideal card for cross spammers. He can also be of good use during deadball situations, as his accuracy and power can lead to a goal:(9.7/10)
Physical
- He gets pushed around easily by stronger wingers and he also is very bad in the air. He can struggle in high intensity playstyles and can get outmuscled by physical midfields:(7.5/10)
Positioning and Stamina
- With high/med, you would expect an attacking LB and he does fulfill that role somewhat. However, what hurts his positioning is that he mostly never retreats, leaving acres of space behind. His stamina also takes a huge hit, and you will need to sub him off by the 60th minute:(6.9/10)
Final Verdict
Balde is a good attacking LB with his excellent passing, blistering pace and good defending. However, his lack of physical and being more attacking-geared, he is not really a good all-round and is considered low OVR now with the arrival of 115s.
