+ Standing at 196 cm, Cech's height is quite ideal for a meta GK, as he is able to stop many high balls or finesse shots headed towards the corner of the goal. (9.8/10)
Diving
+ Cech's diving feels incredibly reliable, as his impressive height and jumping allows him to reach and cover corners that most keepers simply cannot. With that said, he's not unstoppable, and perfectly placed shots can still get past him. (9.7/10)
Distribution
+ His ability to distribute the ball is insanely on point. Both his kicking and throwing passes are incredibly accurate, especially due to his high kicking attribute and the Long Thrower trait that can easily converts defense into counter attacks with great consistency. (9.9/10)
1-on-1s
+ The heart of this card. Cech's ability to rush out and shut down golden chances from opposing attackers makes him consistently win 1v1s and execute saves from golden chances that would normally be clear goals as if he were built for them. (10/10)
Reflexes
- Unfortunately, as strong as this card looks on paper, it does come with a trade-off. Compared to his previous 111 version, this Cech feels more vulnerable to power shots and slightly struggles to react fast due to his average reflexes that don't always keep up with quick attacks. (9.4/10)
Final Verdict
Petr Cech's new FF card is an absolute beast with a twist. While his diving 1-on-1 ability and ball distribution are top-notch, his reflexes currently feel underwhelming, which could hold him back as better players keep coming after the start of TOTY. If he recieves a buff in the upcoming days, he has the potential to remain top-tier for months, but even in his current state, he is still incredibly worth and recommended to get as he is able to last for another 4-5 months in most squads.
