Pace

Covers ground quick, deceptively fast for someone his size. In build up play, his pace allows him to get into dangerous positions. On defensive transitions, Socrates tracks runs and blocks passing lanes well. (9.2/10)

Physicality

Simply outstanding, one of the strongest midfielders there is, bodying anybody. His brute strength helps to hold the ball well but also win the ball in body contact duels. (9.7/10)

Shooting

Really top notch finishing. Socrates can absolutely fire off rockets with either foot. Finess and powershots both are his speciality. (9.9/10)

Positioning

Moves around a lot but tends to stay up a bit more due to H/M workrate. Ideal for dual CDM, CM or CAM role. As sole CDM, could work but not as well. He makes good attacking runs. (9.3/10)

Passing

Very good through balls, lobs and crosses. Socrates's passing range is amazing and his passes have the perfect weight on them almost all the time. (9.7/10)

Slightly heavy however, turning is fine in terms of smoothness, release ball faster and there is no issue, furthermore his stun is very good on skill moves. (9/10)
