Maradona feels incredibly fast in gameplay. His acceleration is explosive, and once you perform a Stepover or Elastico, he leaves defenders behind with ease. His speed combined with his agility makes him a constant threat on counter attacks and allows him to score plenty of solo goals.

His shooting is one of the strongest parts of the card. Shot power is excellent, finesse shots are very consistent, and he finishes confidently inside the box. He can score from difficult angles and remains clinical in front of goal.

His passing is excellent for an attacking player. Through balls, short passes and quick link up play are all very accurate, making him a reliable creator as well as a goalscorer. He is also very effective when used as a CAM.

This is easily his biggest strength. His joystick feels incredibly smooth, and Trickster makes his skill moves much quicker and more effective. His close control, agility and balance allow him to beat defenders consistently without losing possession.
