Chiellini has decent recovery pace for a center back.He closes down attackers quickly and pretty good even if the striker is behind them.He’s decent speed makes him recover from small mistakes

His standing tackles and slide tackles are perfect.With his anticipate playstyle he makes tackles looks easy.He reads through passes,passing lane pretty well and wins most of his standing tackles.Sometimes he steps up early but he recovers pretty fast

With his bruiser playstyle he’s really good in shoulder to shoulder duels and doesn’t get bodied.He uses his body really well to shield the ball and make attackers uncomfortable by pushing them off balance.Against physical strikers he keeps up very well

He’s pretty decent in air even though he isn’t perfect height for a cb.He clears off most of them crosses and wins most of defensive headers.He isn’t a big threat in corners but he is still solid

Final Verdict
Chiellini is one of the best center backs in the game right now.He offers decent pace amazing defending and physicality.He might not be the best long ball playing cb but if you want a cb who wins almost all ground duels,most ariel duels,great positioning and wonder standing and slide tackles and can last you the whole 90minutes i defiantly recommend to you.He’s definitely worth the shards.
