Quick bursts of speed lets him catch up to opponents thanks to his high acceleration.
Over longer stretches his sprint speed lets him slightly down.
His Pace + Awareness lets him transition between plays, attack & defense smoothly.

Playmaker CDM - Kimmich controls the entire game's tempo.
Passing is really good - helps create attacks from the deep with his on point short passes, long balls, creativity and accuracy.
Crossing when in position with whipped crosser helps create chances as well

His agility is good - helping him turn quickly and change directions, escaping from pressure.
Smooth on the ball to carry it forward and support the attack.

Lasts for the entire match, delivering top notch performance in the entire midfield.

Awareness is really good, helping him win interceptions and get into defensive positions.
Positioning while transitioning into the attack is solid as well - gets into positions to create thru balls & big chances.

Final Verdict
Pure Playmaking CDM. Kimmich is absolutely a machine in the midfield - high awareness, solid defending, crazy passing & relentless stamina. The Playstyles are the major let down. EA gave him Whipped Crosser + Relentless, messing up his card. Decent for RB due to his playstyles, however pace is not sufficient. His gameplay is much better at CDM (Best: Dual pivot CDM) Recommended for dual/playmaking CDM (shortlist for now).
