+ Though not good enough for a starter, it is decent for a super sub. His accelaration is top-notch and he can keep up his speed for a decent amount of time and can be a huge asset when the opponent's defense is tired:(8.8/10)

+ Messi is a playmaking maestro despite his low OVR. He has superb vision which allows him to thread some lovely through balls in behind the backlines. His crosses are well weighted and accurate, which can cause your opponent to rage 😂:(9.4/10)
Dribbling
+ Messi's joystick control feels smooth and his dribbling is just excellent. Due to his short stature, he has superb skill stun, especially on the croqueta. As always, he is a fun card to use and he can dismatle defenses if used properly:(9.6/10)

+ He is a deadly forward in front of goal. His finesse shots, helped by the finesse shot trait, are excellent and his driven shots are powerful and accurate. With 5 star weak foot, he can shoot from a variety of angles making a huge threat outside the box:(9.6/10)

+ With high/low, Messi is always found attacking and is always there to latch onto a through ball. However, if you abuse him in game, he can drop in stamina pretty fast meaning you will need a sub for him:(8.6/10)

- The tradeoff for the wonderful agility and dribbling is his physicality. He is always second in aerial duels and gets pushed around easily by strong defenders:(7.2/10)
Final Verdict
Messi plays like a classic agile creator, offering quick bursts, elite dribbling, and brilliant shooting whenever he gets on the ball. For a TOTW card, he isn't bad at all and he can be a threat while coming on
