+ Pavard's pace is not the best overall, but he is quite fast, especially with his controlled sprint speed that lets him catch up to attackers quickly and close down big chances. (9.3/10)

+ Pavard defends insanely well; from very precise marking to on-point interceptions to standing and sliding tackles that are super clean, he can do it all. (9.7/10)
Physical and Aerial Ability
+ Pavard's physicality is very strong. He can push many attackers off the ball with his very high strength and outjump even the tallest opponents with his 186 cm height. (9.8/10)
Lack of Traits
- Unfortunately, Pavard does not have the ideal traits for a meta CB, such as dives into tackles or the power header, which causes him to not perform optimally during certain matches. (8/10)

Final Verdict
Benjamin Pavard is a great CB with solid pace, superb defending, and great physicality. However, some cons, such as his lack of traits and his work rates, hold him back, as he won't perform optimally in certain matches. If you desperately need a CB and you're just a beginner with not much shards, Pavard is a good option, but there are better options to choose for near his price range.
