+ Cole is one of the fastest fullbacks in the game. His explosive pace caused from his insanely high acceleration makes him able to effortlessly outrun even the fastest wingers and recover from any stuns like nothing ever happened. (9.9/10)
Passing
+ His ability to deliver the ball whether it is short-range or long-range makes him a great play maker. He is also able to deliver crosses from any place using his strong foot that almost always guarantees golden chances. (9.8/10)
Defending
+ While considered an offensive LB, Cole is surprisingly a solid defender, as he can mark opponents tightly, performs both standing and sliding tackles cleanly due to his Dives Into Tackles trait, and even intercepts passes like a shadow-CB. (9.6/10)
Physical
+ His physicality feels average, similar to other fullbacks, he is considered decently strong, as he is able to stand his ground and not get bodied against stronger opponents. (9.4/10)
Stamina
+ Cole's 4.5* stamina lets him last almost a full 90 minutes in the pitch, even during times where he'd run back and forth during counter attacks, he'd stay strong and not fade out much, making him almost fully effective at all times. (9.6/10)
Work Rates
- Unfortunately, for some players who prefer fullbacks to contribute more on defense rather than offense, Cole might not be a good choice, as his High/Medium work rate may cause him to lack the defensive positioning, especially during counter-attacking situations where he would need to run from the opposite side of the pitch back to where he started. Final Verdict
As of this event, Ashley Cole is one of, if not the best, LB in the game. He's pacey, has an almost-full stamina, delivers passes very well, and is able to defend like how a CB usually does. Unfortunately, he occupies a High/Medium work rate, which may cause him to lack the defensive positioning during crucial situations. However, if you are looking for an all-rounded LB that can last you for another few months, Cole is easily the best option to choose from, as he only costs 1250 shards.
