+ He has very solid defending and can make crucial tackles in midfield. His standing tackles feel clean and he usually wins the ball without causing rebounds to the attacker. He steps in well to stop players driving at your backline and is reliable in most 1v1 defensive situations:(9.4/10)

+ For a CDM, his pace is pretty good. He accelerates quickly, which helps him close down space and join the buildup without feeling slow. His shorter height also makes him feel light and agile on the ball, so turning and tracking back is smooth:(9.1/10)

Passing

+ His passing is exactly what you want from a CDM. He can play simple, safe passes to recycle possession and also pick out teammates with cleaner forward balls when needed. He keeps the midfield ticking nicely without many sloppy giveaways:(9.2/10)
