Pace
+ Pires' pace is solid, as he has a balanced acceleration and sprint speed, making him effective in long distance runs. However, don't expect to get much explosiveness from his stepovers and knock ons, as his below average acceleration and height may slow it down. (9.3/10)
Dribbling
+ Pires' dribbling is mid; not bad, but not good enough. Due to his 187 cm height, he feels quite heavy with joystick dribbling, but his amazing ball control and skill stun may compensate for it, especially due to his Flair trait that makes him be able to perform more stylish moves whilst dribbling. (9.3/10)
Stamina
- As a winger, it isn't that great to have only 4* stamina, as wingers need to run back and forth on the pitch, and that could eventually tire him out. (8/10)
Shooting
- For a left-winger, his shooting is awfully low. Precautions are mostly required when using him, as taking shots with too much power may cause the shot to miss. Not to mention, his positioning is low and not that reliable, and he struggles to find open spaces that could potentially create chances. (7.8/10)
Final Verdict
Robert Pires' new FF card is quite a disappointment in terms of performance. His pace and dribbling isn't that bad, but his incredibly low positioning and shooting ability can be a draw back for almost everyone. Considering he's only available in the star pass, he really isn't worth it to get and use for H2H, and it's better to shard him instead and claim a better LW in the gallery.
