De Ligt has usable pace, but his recovery speed isn't a major strength. His acceleration feels slightly heavy, especially when turning & chasing attackers. Effective when positioned correctly rather than relying on pure recovery speed.

His strongest area. Tackles feel pretty strong and reliable, with good defensive reach and solid interceptions. Strong challenges in 1v1s mainly thanks to his build. Unfortunately, no Anticipate PS.

De Ligt is a physical, dependable CB through strong tackling, body contact and aerial defending. His Bruiser play style complements & enhances his defensive capabilities. Lacks in acceleration, recovery speed. Not recommended for meta squads, usable in basic/mid squads.
