He is rapid for a fullback, he catches upto many meta wingers, also he has great trackback pace, allowing him to be involved in the attack and still dominating in the defense.

His playstyle makes him a wall, with guardian his hard tackles are good, his standing tackles are clean as well as accurate, he gets a lot of interceptions as well, and his marking is great.

His physical is lowkey too good, he wins physical battles like it's a cakewalk, he even gives bruisers a run for their money. His shoulder to shoulder skills allow him to body almost any winger or striker in the current meta.

Aerial Ability

Mid aerial ability at best, his height makes it hard for him to intercept high lobs and clears. Even in corner kicks his presence is almost non existent.

His awareness is really good, he is present in the right position at the right time, and using second defender he is always in position for an interception, but formations like 433a sometimes make him make overlapping runs.

His passing is just magical, his crosses, lobs, through balls, and driven passes, just brilliant, they outshine all expectations.

The only real bummer of this card is his stamina, he runs out of energy by the 70 minute mark, but a substitution is not really necessary as he is a fullback.

Final Verdict
Douglas Santos is a left back that definitely exceeded my expectations, he is a full on defensive wall, as well as creating chances be it from the backline, use him without a doubt if you pack him, and he is recommended even if bought from shards, his stamina may let you down, but his capabilities won't.
