Detail Review
Pace
(+)
Declan Rice feels very good during transitions. While he isn't a pace-dependent midfielder, his movement from defence to attack and back is smooth and efficient. He covers spaces well, supports counter attacks when needed, and recovers quickly enough to regain his defensive position, making him highly reliable in midfield.
(9/10)
Passing
(+)
Passing is one of the biggest highlights of this card. His short passes are crisp and accurate, while his long balls are dependable enough to switch play effectively. The standout feature is the Bullet Pass Playstyle, which turns his ground-driven passes into a cheat code during attacking situations. They travel with incredible speed and accuracy, making build-up play and quick transitions extremely effective.
(9.8/10)
Dribbling
(+)
Unlike some of his previous versions, this Declan Rice card doesn't feel heavy on the ball. His joystick movements are much smoother, and his good balance helps him retain possession well under pressure. While he isn't a flashy dribbler, he feels comfortable carrying the ball through midfield when required.
(9/10)
Shooting
(-)
Shooting is the weaker aspect of his gameplay. His shot power and finishing are okayish, making him slightly unreliable when arriving in goalscoring positions. Fortunately, this isn't a major issue considering his primary role as a CDM, where defensive contributions matter far more than goals.
(8/10)
Defending
(+)
His defending is highly dependable. Standing tackles are clean, interceptions are consistent, and his defensive awareness allows him to read passing lanes effectively. He regularly wins back possession and provides excellent protection in front of the backline.
(9.7/10)
Physical
(+)
Physicality is another major strength of this card. He possesses excellent raw strength and comfortably dominates shoulder-to-shoulder duels. His ability to shield the ball and muscle attackers off possession makes him a commanding presence in midfield.
(9.5/10)
Stamina
(+)
With 5* stamina, Rice is built to perform for the full 90 minutes. He maintains his intensity throughout the match without any noticeable drop in performance, making him an ideal midfielder for high-workload roles.
(10/10)
Positioning
(+)
His positioning is outstanding on both ends of the pitch. Defensively, he positions himself brilliantly to intercept passes and shield the defence. Despite his Medium/High workrate, he also makes occasional intelligent attacking runs during transitions, offering valuable support in build-up play. His overall positioning makes him feel like a complete box-to-box midfielder whenever needed.
(9.7/10)
Overall Rating: 9.3/10
Final Verdict

Declan Rice is a top defensive midfielder with excellent passing, strong physicality, elite defending, and outstanding stamina. The Bullet Pass Playstyle adds a unique edge to his build-up play, making quick ground passes incredibly effective. While his shooting remains below average, his all-round midfield presence more than compensates. He is a great CDM, who can thrive more if used as a box-to-box midfielder.
