Fàbregas has surprisingly good pace for a playmaker. He is not the type of midfielder who will constantly outrun everyone, but once he receives the ball and starts moving forward, he has enough acceleration to carry attacks into dangerous areas. His pace feels especially useful when making late runs or pushing forward after creating space.

His shooting is excellent for a CM. He can finish chances reliably around the box and is also a genuine threat when arriving late in attacking positions. His shooting gives him more versatility than a traditional playmaker, allowing him to contribute directly with goals instead of only creating them.

Passing is unquestionably the best part of this card. Short passes, through balls and creative passes are delivered with incredible consistency, while his Level 2 Tiki Taka PlayStyle makes his quick combinations even more effective. He constantly controls the flow of attacks and can create chances from almost anywhere on the pitch.

Dribbling

His dribbling is good overall, with responsive turns and enough agility to move through pressure. However, he can occasionally feel slightly heavy when compared with the smoothest and most agile midfielders. It does not make him difficult to use, but you will notice that he is more comfortable controlling and distributing the ball than constantly dribbling past multiple defenders.

Defensively, Fàbregas performs better than you might expect from such an attacking midfielder. His positioning and work rate allow him to contribute when the team is out of possession, and he can make useful interceptions in midfield.
