His pace is absolutely insane for a centre back. Level 2 Accelerator gives him an exceptional burst of speed, especially when he needs to recover against fast attackers. Even if an opponent gets past him initially, Carlos Alberto has the acceleration and recovery pace to quickly get back into the situation. He feels incredibly fast in actual gameplay and is extremely difficult to beat on counter attacks.

His defending is world class. Level 1 Anticipate makes a noticeable difference in gameplay, helping him react quickly to passes and win the ball before attackers can fully develop their moves. His tackling is extremely reliable, interceptions are excellent and he consistently feels difficult to get past.

His passing is excellent for a CB. Short passes feel very clean and reliable under pressure, while his ability to distribute the ball helps start attacks comfortably from the back. He doesn't feel limited when building up play and can move the ball forward with confidence.
