His pace is good for a CM. He isn't the type of midfielder who will constantly burst past everyone, but he has enough acceleration to move into attacking areas and keep up with the play. In open space, faster midfielders can still catch him.

His dribbling is excellent. Zidane feels smooth and composed on the ball, with very good close control for his size. His turns are clean, and he can carry the ball through midfield without needing to rely on skill moves constantly.
His bigger body type does mean he won't feel as instantly agile as smaller CMs, but he has a very natural feeling when changing direction.

Passing is one of his biggest strengths. His short passing is extremely reliable, and he can play accurate through balls and switches across the pitch. He is especially good at receiving the ball and immediately finding the next pass.
His passing makes him useful both as a possession midfielder and when playing quicker attacking football.

His shooting is excellent. He strikes the ball very cleanly from outside the box and can be a genuine threat when given space .
The Power Shot ability makes this even more useful. When you have time to set up a shot, he can produce some very dangerous efforts from distance. He isn't going to score every attempt, but defenders have to respect the threat.

His defending is decent. He can make interceptions and tackles when positioned correctly, but he isn't a specialist ball-winning midfielder. If you want your CM to constantly press and win the ball back, there are better options.
His size and positioning help him compete, but his defensive contribution is more about being in the right place than aggressively hunting the ball.

His physicality is very good. His size and strength allow him to handle midfield challenges well, and he doesn't get pushed off the ball easily. This works particularly well alongside his dribbling because he can absorb contact while maintaining possession.

ZIDANE is a very complete attacking CM who combines excellent passing, dribbling, shooting, and physical presence.His biggest advantage is that he doesn't need to rely on one particular attribute. You can use him to control possession, carry the ball forward, create chances, or take shots from outside the box.His main limitation is his defensive contribution. He can defend adequately, but he isn't the CM I'd choose if the priority is winning the ball and covering huge amounts of ground.
